guidance and control is a pretty serious issue for these very high speed airplanes. You can't have the kinds of flight control deviations that you might in a lower airplane. Most of these vehicles are fully autonomous, so there's not a pilot on board to figure out where they're going. So GNC is one of the more challenging features with these hypersonic vehicles.
