Is This a Book for Griefers?
This is not a book for grievers, in the sense that i don't think it's best read by those who are in the midst of grief. I'm teaching this book not as a guide to sort of the process of grieving, or how you get from point a to point c and grieving. In some sense, had a part of my view of the nature of grief that we a, sort of improvise our way through it. And i see my own work on grief as actually continuous with a the sort of burgeoning interest phenomena such as depression and anxiety,. which our areas that philosophers have written a lot on recently.
