The Metals Market Is a Space Compared to the Energy Sector
The metals markets had the staglation story driving them. Bright metals are generally really good performers in periods of staglation, so they had that as a tail wind. The electronic vehicle story was all hopped up about how many, how much base metal we were going to need to consume for this transition to electronic vehicles. And apparently that doesn't seem to be an issue for pricing any more,. We've just seen the prices pull back 30 and 40%.
