How to Avoid Corruption in Postgres
If Postgres has been told to store a certain value and then it returns that same value, we're not talking about corruption. So if the application is to blame, I think that's out of the scope for me of the definition here. But equally, I've had problems like I was reading up on a trip advisor thread a while back where I think it was actually replicating between two systems as part of an upgrade. And that ended up causing corruption. It almost certainly was GLSC related.
