The Differences Between the Coronavirus and the 1918 Pandemic
Coronavirus appears to have originated in bats. Then it crossed over through an intermediate animal, which seems to be the pangolin. 1918 certainly did come back in the fall when it disappeared over the summer. I suspect we will see fewer and fewer cases as the warm weather comes around.
