The sheriff came up with the perfect way to attract robin an archery competition. The word went out far and wide that nottingham would be holding a grand archery tournament. After several rounds of the competition, it became clear that robin hood was the best. But just as robin was about to shoot his final arrow and win the day, the competition grounds were surrounded by armed men loyal to the sheriff.
