The Future of Globalization

There's really potential for business to establish in areas that were left out of the first wave of globalization. We are calling that re-globalization, reimagining globalization at the WTO. I think the second opportunity has to do with what is happening within trade itself. The rules that underpin digital trade are not yet there. And we also need to look at how to bring 2.7 billion people who are not yet on the internet in. But that is one growth area that is very, very interesting to trade.
