George Spicer claimed to have seen a Diplodocus-like dinosaur in King Kong. He said that he saw very much resemblance between the creature in the film and what he saw. This should have alerted Gould to the possibility of a hoax, but it did multiple later researchers as well. Although Spicer didn't acknowledge these facts, both were dragon-like prehistoric animals with long necks which bobbed up and down. They could move both in water and on land, crossed from left to right, had their tails wrapped around the far side of their bodies,. Didn't have visible feet, and were carrying prey in their mouths.
