The Unity of the Virtues
Virtue is a disposition of a person in the sense that I'm using it. So if you're willing to expand the concept of virtues, it would include relatively small errors like wittiness or something. The floor is clean today rather than dirty, but it's okay if that be traded off against something else. That's not a sacred virtue. That's just something that would be good. And that's the thought that the virtues are sacred and the thought that they're unified might be connected.
