The Black Queen and the Paris Massacre

Even though she was a devout Catholic, Catherine relied heavily on Medici astrologers magic and her own dream visions. Her main astrologers were the Florentine ruegiary brothers, who were known for being very skilled in the Black Arts. She also had a guy in her life, Metro Renee, who mixed up potions for her and supposedly poison gloves and poison rueg. But this is the kind of stuff that earns her nickname, the Black Queen, and that massacre we're about to discuss.
