In 1492, or rather pre-1492 in the Americas, how many of those animals are available on that landmass? I mean, birds, I'm guessing, giraffes, no. As Desiree said, a lot of these are from colonized places, but not from the Americas. So like the whole safari is very much an African origin. Can I get a goat? Can Iget a goat? No, not in the Americas. Dang! Lots of colorful birds, though. Loads of lovely birds.
