The Power of Narrative Therapy
Speaking directly to the fear circuit is a transformative act. If you are with a therapist who's talking about it, rather than talking to it, then you never get to have those direct conversations. The narrative therapy has a way of working with this so that the telling of the story can really be transformative. So I don't want to put any disrespect to narrative therapy. But there's something that happens in this embodiment of the parts of our brain where we're giving them a voice similar to the woman sitting and looking at her fear circuit from the outside.
