You still want to have some protein into your body post-event because it's going to help you repair the damaged muscles that have already been worked over. Aim for a bigger serving of protein at each meal rather than just having one or two small portions throughout the day. Try and eat half a cow, not all at once where it sits there and is quite uncomfortable. You know give your body a chance so it's taking little bits at a time and spread it out throughout the Day.
