The fed raised interest rates by zero point seven i percentage points this week. Atd the bank of england sterday raised interest rates for a fifth time in a row, by a quarter of a %. Even the swiss national bank has not raised interest rates since two thousand and seven and this week they came out with half a percentage point worth. Bearing in swiss bench mork rates are still minus zero point two, five %.

Stocks fall following rate rises in the US, UK and Switzerland and Russia restricts gas flow to Germany, and Covid hospitalisations are up in Europe.
