In our interview with peter van enwagen about the consequence argument, we made reference to a reply to the argument by david lewis. According to the reply, which is sometimes called local miracle compatibleism, there is a sense in which the lawsof nature are up to us. Can you give us a sketch of this reply? If you want to uphold the ability to do otherwise as a requirement on freedom, e, and you want to be a compatiblist e, the disposition view is definitely the way to go.
