The New Dogma for Judaism

Jared Diamond: I would like to float a new dogma, a new creed for this kind of new age religion. Why is there life on earth? Why are we the ones doing science and not the apes or the amoebas? And there's something theological about that. Even those who think that there could be life somewhere else, we haven't met that life yet. But even if it were to come meet us, I still think we could sustain a share about HarbanuWho chose us in the same way that Jews recognize that there are other nations with other cultures and other missions.
