William James - Act as if What You Makes a Difference

Ausei lready now whatyou gys ar gong to be saying. So no matter what i believe, as long as i act on it and it becomes useful to me, it's therefore true to william james. But he says there are certain criteria that need to be met by any belief to even be considered potentially justifiable. One is that there needs to be evidence in its favor. Two, the idea needs to be strong enough to be able to stand up to counter arguments. And three, once you believe in the idea,  the idea needs to keep proving its worth to you. If it's not doing that, probably time to believe in something else
