The Sound of Chris Watson

Chris Watson is a field recordist whose work includes recording the sound for David Attenborough. He says plants experience sound through vibrations, which are actually very similar to the way that aquatic animals and aquatic plants experience sound. "Vibrations pass much better, the more dense the medium," he says.
