The Heart Rate Is a Good Speedometer
The heart can be seen as a kind of a speedometer for the body, or maybe more specifically a stress ometer. Heat is a stressor and if you're out in the heat, your heart rate goes up. It also connects to that electrical device issue. You can get arrhythmias not only because of how you train or that, but also during periods of heavy stress.
