The Events of Rendlesham Forest

In the years between 1980 and you left at the beginning of 80 and you went back stateside had you heard about the events of Rendlesham Forest then or did you only hear about it when you went back in 1984. There was a British newspaper editor that when I was back over here I had there was something he said  I can't remember where I found it but I had made contact with him on my email one of my old emails. He was trying to contact me back and then all of a sudden he was no longer I was no longer able to make contact with him anymore.
