You Don't Play Antithesis Off Against Fulfillment
Paul doesn't fall into one side of this dichotomy between common-graced antithesis. He fires both barrels for fulfillment, he says that the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. The biblical pattern is you've got to be all out antithesis and full on fulfillment. Now it's tricky often to know how to hold those together but that's the biblical standard we need to hold ourselves.
