Scottish Nationalism and Scottish Nationalism in the Modern Era
Scottish patriotism is very profound in the 19th and early 20th century, but it doesn't fundamentally threaten the Union. The festival of Britain does away for the first time with the idea that British is an international identity. It sees it much more as a national one. And when that starts to be being British or being New Zealand, Scots like to be Scots. These are drivers for modern Scottish masters. In the sense, the union has changed, and that's why Scotland has changed.
