Even artificial photosynthesis is being developed so we could perhaps look forward to a time that we're actually creating our own energy directly from the sun. In Indonesia, they saw their whole coastal areas being eroded and that affected the livelihood of the community because that comes out. A lot of that is from fishing and the marine industries so they founded a company called Carbon Ethics which has restored the coastline.
