I think we see every day that there's a great resistance in this country to talking about, like, anything that happened in the past and connecting it to the present. Its seen as this dangerous thing in american education. And i don't think there was that context to this need to examine these underlying causes. I have, especially when i was right in your house, ayi had these conversations with my parents, you know, i cann't, i kind of trok tried to talk to anyone who was around at that time.
