Social Studies Teacher - Discussion and Collaborative Activities
Part of our job as english teachers is to teach students to be able to discuss calabrialy with the others. You can't do those things without modelling and having practice class. The ability that they could go back and try again at a discussion or try again at an oral presentation, i think that's really, really important to the kids. I so much of what you were saying, emily, really resignated with me as a social studies teacher. Because, of course, discussion was invaluable for diving deeper into content. And text, specifically, a collaborativ activities.
