The Biden Administration's Role in Alaska's Oil Project
She's not a culture warrior, she's seen as someone who's sincere in what she's looking for. Alaska is so tied to the oil and gas industry that going to salmon and tourism isn't going to pay all the bills. She did not go in lockstep with other Republicans to vote against Biden nominations in the committee. Her thing was, I think we had an article that quoted her: They wanted more money for EVs in that legislation. And I said, fine, we'll put more money for EV in that legislation as long as we get, you know, EV fairies for Alaska, which they did.
