The world is a tapestry of all sorts of people, and we need diversity. School does a very good or tries very, very hard at making us neurodiverse people as normal as possible but fails miserably. The structure in which school is done is not for our school is a process factory. It's a conveyor belt of process. We are not built that way. If you've ever failed at school and never been able to finish a degree, that has nothing to do with how intelligent you are. That just means that when it comes to that sausage factory, that was never going to work for you anyway. And I don't think anyone who thinks that doesn't work
