In Navajo, all post positions are attached to. They're always suffix on a pronoun form. The ones in the Semitic languages are pretty easy, pretty analytical. You can usually tell them apart, although the ones in Coptic can be weird. If you have nouns turning into prepositions, they might act weird. But really they're just things and part of a noun phrase ultimately.
