Soup of Chick Peas
i picked this recipe because it seemed very sweet. It was a sort of ode to his grandfather, who passed away a few years ago. And i liked that it called for the mashed up garlic, which i feel like is very important. I don't trust it when someone says, throw the garlic in,. Like it's going to get chopped up fine enough. You know, the mashing of the garlic on the knifeike, on the cutting board with the knife, is super crucial.
