The Democratic Senators Could Go Nuclear, or They're Going to Pass the Bill on Their Own.
There's this notion that maybe the democrats, all 50 of them, would get together and change the senate rules to allow this debt sealing hike to take place without threat of a filabuster. Now it's not clear whether the democratic leaders have wasted two and a half months because they simply not govern or whether they are intentionally playing russian rulet with the economy.
