A Novel About Squid Monsters

The titlete of a novel comes fatte othe. Sailors escape from this ship, from the glencarig in the ship's boats, which they row toward the island. And then once they get on the island, the sailors begin to encounter other beings. There seem to be encampments of a squid like characters oftni. Seems that perhaps these squid monsters are a travelling underneath the island and and subterranean caverns. So i as though the squid army coming to attack the marooned sailors. And the disturbing quality there and the really intriguing pality is what makes hodgson such an uninteresting rider, and much of his work.
