Lexmark Printers Are a Target for Attackers
Most modern printers are network connected devices with sophisticated processors inside. This week Lexmark warned customers about a critical security vulnerability allowing remote code execution. Bug, designated CVE-2023-23560 carries a CVSS score of 9 out of 10. Now Lexmark has issued a firmware patch and told customers that disabling web services is a workaround for protection.
