There is a big assumption that depression is caused by neuro chemical balance. The truth is, as scientists and medical doctors, we actually don't know that. There are some kinds of depression like disthemia which is what i would kind of call congruent depression. And there's also all kinds of other things that are like, super simple in a sense but it's so complicated.
