The Power of Forgiveness
If I say to the painter, I don't care. Now I'm the bad guy. And now he's justified. But there's another option. You can always pass the buck. Keep passing it until somebody gets it. Or I can say, that's cool, I forgive you. If I were weaker than you, I would apologize to you for thinking badly about you and we'd engage in what’s called a pity party,. Because we're both victims, now we have built up some momentum here. That's why Jesus commands us to forgive, not ask us.
