Is There a Difference Between Silicon Valley and London?
London has strong network density within the ecosystem, but relatively weak network density between the ecosystem and its feeder institutions. If your professor is not thinking about startups, then the chances are that you apply for jumping McKinsey or Goldman Sachs instead. It means that anyone who might have started up a company with you can't start up with you. And so it feels like maybe we're at the point in London, maybe a couple of other places where we operate where there is a lot of flywheel effect.
