Is There a Better Word for Podcasts?

When cinema was invented, you could show a series of photographs and rapid succession. We're going to call that a movie, right? That evolves over the next 120 years. More recently, podcasts, this one is especially dumb. And I hate it for a bunch of reasons. The way the speed at which that stuff is being created, those cultures are being created, the language hasn't had as much time to evolve in other mediums.
