The Power of a Hit Single
We knew it was going to be a big hit on number one song on rock radio and really launched the band's career. Every label, you know, everybody, some of the labels said, oh man, there's 10 bands in the Midwest that can kick this bad ass. And so we had this one boardwalk records had Joan Jett in the black hearts. So they were just coming off with a lot of, a lot of money from I love rock and roll. We played it because, and we put every bit of our heart and soul in it every time we played it. You know what I mean? To this day, we still do that.
