The Psychotic Break of a Friend

A friend of mine had a psychotic break when he was in his late 20s. The two were taking ayahuasca at the same time and both took opiates as part of their experience. They snorted half of it before they went to Times Square for an alternative high. "I'm gonna drop out you Chicago or I don't want to go back" says writer about her friend's breakdown.
