The idea here is that light itself was the thing that changed the universe from invisible to visible. We're trying to see which galaxys turned on first. Once we understand where those first galaxies are, that helps us understand the distribution of matter and dark matter in the early universe. Scientists need to get to work up next the mysteries that will still remain after the web space telescope and the future telescopes that will try to solve them.
