Sam Blaster or Air Wirr Abrasion Root Surface Bonding?
Good quality bonding has got so many factors, so many steps in it. I guess you've got to have your prepared, clean tooth surface and a main point to that is going to be clean. If there's still plaque or biofilm on there, if there's staining on there, you can't actually bond properly to that tooth surface. So, one thing that was an absolute game-changer for me years ago is when I got introduced to Sam Blaster or Air Wirr abrasion or whatever you want to call it. It's the sort of thing that I literally permanently have set up next to me every single time I'm about to do any kind of bonding procedure

Dr Bez Shokouhi
Dr Bez Shokouhi attained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with first-class Honours in 2006 from King’s College London. He is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons and the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He has also completed 2 further university degrees, the King’s College London Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry, and the University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Dental Implants, plus a ridiculous number of other courses and seminars.
Bez is passionate about dentistry and is an ever-learner, a tinkerer and an experimenter by nature, and as such he finds himself constantly innovating ways to tweak and improve his dentistry. He practices the full gamut of dentistry including complex restorative and aesthetic dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants.
He has been involved in teaching at King’s College London and University of Sydney and is an examiner for the University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Dental Implants. Bez is a mentor to many young dentists who regularly reach out to him online and visit him at his practice on the Northern Beaches for observation.
Bez runs a popular Facebook page (Dentistry by Dr Bez Shokouhi) and Instagram page (@dr.bez.shokouhi) where he regularly posts detailed step-by-step dentistry cases.
