The Difficulty of Getting Around to College
"I almost died, and I even had afraid it was my first semester," she says. "So much, there's a constant internal evaluation of, you know, getting my stuff together." She took a year off school to serve with her children; then decided to stay-at-home. The university surprised her by imagining possibilities for non-traditional students that people in high school or at the private fancy liberal arts school could never think of on their own.
