How to Succeed as a Technical Engineer

When you develop enough confidence that you have the technical ability, I think what you really want to focus on is other soft skills. Most people succeeding in their pursuit of a project management role or kind of a principal level role are where those soft skills are working well for them. They can communicate really effectively. They demonstrate a level of confidence in talking to people and sharing their design...that will allow you to go much further than just being an engineer.
