How to Use TikTok to Find Support
The TikTok algorithm decides what sort of things to show you when you're scrolling through videos. It looks at what you like, where you already spend time watching or comment on and recommends similar content. So someone might be watching videos about depression, for example, and then be pushed towards other videos tagged under mental health. And end up seeing lots of videos about autism. Here's an example. Struckling with emotions, overthinking everything, struggling with really quick memory loss,. knowing what you want to say but not knowing how to word it.
