The Beginnings of the Falling Out Between Wordsworth and Coleridge

The ancient mariner came first of all in lyrical ballads, intended to dominate the reception of the collection. Wordsworth wasn't very happy about it and arranged with a publisher for the ancient mariono to be shoved the back of the first volume. It must have been rather a shock for readers to read that wonderful introduction by words with is wich defined a new era in english poetry. Sait was a languageer spoken by ordinary people on ordinary subjects.
