Rubefoster's Vision for the Negro Leagues

Rubefoster was the driving force behind the Negro National League's founding. He died fairly young, possibly because of a gas leak that he was exposed to and then declining health followed him. I just wonder how the history of the Negro leagues would have been different if he had lived longer or maybe it would have happened on a different timeline.
