There was a definite panic at that time amongst the sort of, like elite white intelligenca. This was hamilton's school athory. So basically, all these republican attorneys generals are now working kind of hand and glove with right wing think tanks. And their coming up with cases that will allow them to challenge certain constitutional precedents or rights. It's really like freedom for corporations and fewer freedoms and rights for the public.
