The Importance of Grit in Parenting
Bruce Schneier: In our society of expertise, you can now have parents saying, I can't do that to my child. But they would tell me that people just need grit. That's the word that's used a lot in the literature. He says we've physically moved away from each other but societally, we haven't. Schneier: The answer for many theologians is virtue ethics and he has his problems with it.
