The Importance of Visual Effects in Film
There were very few visual effects in that movie. Virtually everything was practical. And we did a little bit of, you know, as you do on every film,. You had to do some tidying up that be the old thing that needed fixing. So I'm experienced the film for the 98% of the film to me was the film and then you get all the sweeteners of the bit of smoke and the trenches into the distance which packaged it beautifully.
