Is Evolution by Natural Selection Falsifiable?

Some people argue about whether or not the theory of evolution by natural selection is a scientific theory, or actually something deeper than a scientific theory. Now, i don't think it really matters ultimately, whether it's the framework within which we do biology or whether it is a scientific explanation subject to the usual test. Just happens, coincidentally, iam reading a book by the philosopher and ab biology philosopher, a macaelus michael at the university of new south wales here in australia. He has writen a book a just recently called Evolution by natural selection, confidence evidence and the gap.
