"We're not going to just stay where we were in 1986," says race director. "When you have 1500 volunteers out there and less than 400 runners, that's a pretty awesome experience." The volunteer experience is going to be part of it for some people,. Maybe a big part of It for some people. But once you get in, you're going to be treated like a rock star", he adds.
